Check-in is after 3 P.M., and check-out is before 11 A.M.
Requests for early check-in & late check-out will be handled based on hotel availability at the time of check-in. Should you need an earlier arrival than the hotel’s standard check-in time and want to guarantee that you would be able to check into your room upon arrival, we would advise you to reserve the night prior. Requests for a late checkout can be directed to the front office on the morning of your departure and may be subject to availability. After 1PM the full room rate applies. Fireside Inn and Suites can accommodate guest luggage complimentary in a secure location if needed.

We require a one-night deposit to hold your room. Any cancellation within 3 days of arrival will forfeit this one-night deposit.
For cottages, as a deposit we take full payment at time of booking. Cancellation within 14 days of arrival forfeits 1/2 of the deposit. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival receive a full refund.
The maximum allowable occupancy is 5 people per room with additional bedding needed, like a roll away bed.
You must be 21 with proper ID to rent a room.
The current Maine State Lodging tax is 9%.
Yes! There is a $20.00 per night pet fee.
Pets shouldn’t be left alone in their room. Even well-behaved pets do act up when their master leaves them alone.
Pets should be kept on a leash when not in their room (unless, of course, you have a goldfish).
When you walk your pet, please do your part to help keep our grounds clean.
There is a perfect dog walking area behind the hotel, toward the waterfront.
Our pet friendly rooms are located on the ground floor with direct lawn access.
We do not have smoking rooms. Fireside Inn and Suites offers a smoke-free environment. Guests may smoke outside in designated areas. A $250 recovery fee applies if smoking has been detected in a guest room of our facility.
Our desk is staffed 24 hours a day for you. Should you have any questions late at night, simply pick up the phone and we can help you out.
We are not doing daily housekeeping service. Please ask the front desk for more details.
Our indoor heated pool is open year round. The pool is open 8 A.M. – 10 P.M.
Cribs and rollaway beds can be provided depending on availability. Cribs can be provided on request at no additional charge. Cots can be provided for an additional $10 per stay.
